The rules of standard sudoku are very simple:
- Place the numbers 1 through 9 in the grid such that no number is repeated in any row, column or box of 3 × 3 cells (marked by thick lines).
- The puzzle has only one valid solution.
- The puzzle can be solved by pure logic, using the given numbers as clues. No guessing is necessary.
